(Free Christian Recovery Home)

The Victory Outreach Recovery Home is a ministry of the local church. The Home provides a residential, Christian environment for men and women. The purpose of the Home is to reclaim, redeem, and restore lives that have been destroyed or disrupted by drugs, alcohol and/or other substance abuse by establishing three essential values; a commitment to Christ, restoration of the family and a positive work ethic.

More about Victory Homes

The Victory Homes, are live-in, 12-month, Christian care homes for adult men and women who have drug and/or alcohol problems. Our Victory Homes are structured for graduates to reclaim, redeem, and restore lives that have been consumed by drugs, alcohol and/ or other substance abuse.

It is the goal of Victory Outreach Victory Homes to reach those affected by the scourges of urban life including drug and alcohol addiction, gang involvement, and prostitution.

Victory Outreach has been operating the “Homes” for over fifty years. Our graduates have a 70% success rate. We seek to meet the person’s needs spiritually, and our goal is family first.

Each Victory Outreach Recovery Home is free of charge. The course of the recovery home is one-year, and all individuals live in a 24-hour “Home” environment.

Our Homes are not government funded and rely solely on the immediate community for our sole financial support.

Victory Homes of South Africa

Change Begins When You Believe

Statistically, there are over 300 live-in recovery homes in the U.S. and around the world. There are as many as 10,000 residents (men and women) in these recovery homes at one time. Their lodging, food, and clothing is provided at no charge. These Victory Homes go into some of the most drug infested areas of the inner cities and reaches out to men and women who are helplessly addicted to heroin, meth and other drugs. Such effectiveness comes from the fact that majority of people providing assistance are former addicts and gang members who at one time found themselves trapped in the same cycle of addiction.

A Message of Hope and Healing

The message is simple; Jesus can change and transform any life no matter the condition or the addiction. Scriptures are used as the foundation to bring a message of deliverance. Once the message is heard and received, addicts are taken off the streets or in some cases out of prison and given an opportunity to live in these Homes (as it is often referred to). The people who direct the Homes know it’s not an easy road yet through tough love, compassion, and support they have been able to see tremendous results.

Results for a Lifetime

Once a resident completes his/her stay at one of these Victory Recovery Homes, follow up is provided by the local church, where they’re directed to get actively involved in the life flow of the church. Each Victory Home has a local church that residents are very much a part of and take an active role in the functions of the local church

The emphasis in these Victory Homes, is creating a lifetime of service to others. Many graduates go on to work with addicts, gangs and other hurting people by helping them know the freedom they now embrace. The bottom line: These Victory Homes have an exponential effect in helping and getting involved in reaching out to our communities. By rescuing one person, they often then, in turn, reach out too many others.
